During Chris's 28 years in the NZ Police, he has gained a vast amount of experience in Investigations.
He started his Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) training in 1998 and Qualified as a Detective in 2001.
Over the next 20 years he has acquired many skills working in the CIB in General Investigation work, Fraud, Organised Crime, Drugs, Adult and Child Sexual Assault, Child and Elder Abuse, Burglary, Theft, Arson, and finding Missing people.
He has worked on numerous homicides and other serious criminal investigations as diverse as Aviation Fatalities, Health and Safety related accidents and deaths, and a vast number of other inquiries.
He has also served overseas for a year in Bougainville, Papua New Guinea working as an Advisor for the NZ Police and the NZ Foreign Affairs Department.
From Detective, Chris was promoted and has held the ranks of Sergeant, Detective Sergeant, and Senior Sergeant and has a proven ability in leading people to success.
He has extensive experience in dealing with people from all walks of life, identifying issues, and is very successful in resolving conflict.
His attention to detail skills are second to none.
